The Resource Center, a local organization dedicated to promoting volunteerism and nonprofit effectiveness in the Greater Flint area, has awarded one of its founding Board members with its highest honor.
Jack Ennest, Vice Chairman, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer of Citizens Banking Corporation, has been awarded the Center’s Community Connection Award for his years of service to both the Resource Center and its founding organizations. Ennest served as the first President of the Resource Center’s Board of Directors and was deeply involved in the merger that led to the agency’s creation in 1997.
Board President Ingrid Halling announced the award: "Jack Ennest was instrumental in the creation of the Resource Center, and we’re truly grateful for his continuing guidance and his insights into the community. He’s been a tremendous Board member."
The Resource Center provides leadership training, volunteer referrals, human services information, and management consulting services for nonprofit
