To purchase an account to access Sourcebook Online, please visit our Getting Access to Sourcebook Online page.
The Sourcebook Online is designed to be fairly user-friendly. Searches may bedone by:
- KEYWORD:
- Type of need...For example, diapers, food, housing, etc.
- AGENCY NAME:
- We try to use legal names but when searching use short names; for example,
instead of American Red Cross simply enter cross. The software isn't
case sensitive. Also, many agencies have AKAs, aliases and/or acronymns
so Genesee County Community Mental Health can be found by typing in
mental, or gccmh or cmh. FIA can be found by typing in FIA or Welfare
or Social Services, etc.
- PROGRAM NAME:
- Agencies have programs names that won't show up under the agency
name e.g., Buckle Up.
- CONCENTRATION:
- There are 11 groups which you may choose which lead to many
services.
We suggest you experiment with the four modes to find the method which best
suits you.
