FLINT, MI – Resource Genesee’s 8TH Annual Polar Bear Open will take place on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:30 pm at the Riverfront Banquet Center. The event features an 18-hole indoor putt-putt golf course designed by Mott Community College Visual Arts students and assembled with assistance from members of the Resource Genesee JET Volunteer Group. Those in attendance will have the chance to win prizes and trophies and to have a great time.

Sponsorship opportunities for businesses and groups are as follows:

  • Gold Sponsor at $1,500 includes a foursome and signage at the event
  • Silver Sponsor at $1,000 includes a foursome and signage
  • Beverage Sponsor at $500
  • Hole Sponsor at $100
A non-sponsored foursome is $100 and individual tickets are $25.

“This is a great way to beat the winter blues. Businesses and organizations can support a foursome to recognize those employees who have done excellent work throughout the year. It is a chance to have a lot of fun and help make a difference in our community,” said Resource Genesee President and CEO Lindsey Younger.

The Polar Bear Open is one way that Resource Genesee supports its valuable programs and services. As a nonprofit organization, Resource Genesee relies on donations, grants, and special fundraisers like the Polar Bear Open.
